Meet George. He's a fine fellow. After reading Maira Kalman's last post on George(find it on And the Pursuit of Happiness) and then finding this Stuart painting while thrifting for less than $4, I couldn't resist. He gets the space next to my book shelves. I like George and I also like the angled, mid-century modern frame he's in. He looks rather stately in my living room.
