the yooper
We spent a long weekend in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Here are a few of our favorite images:
This boat was built to flip right side up if caught in rough waters in Lake Superior. It is still in use, but at a marina for the coming winter.
old copper mine shaft
Quincy Copper Mine:
Poorrock Abbey, where monks sell homemade jam and treats across the road.
Brockway Mountain
The lichens are so beautiful; we made a terrarium.

Feel better love
Craig's second surgery went well. He had more tissue and skin removed, spent a few days in the hospital and is at home resting. He will hopefully return to work in a few weeks. We are waiting to hear from pathology if the results came back cancer-free. We hope that next week brings a celebration of good news and it will be the beginning of remission.
We would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
