one lesson

If you could teach your children only one lesson in life,

what would it be?

My answer would have to be the golden rule.

This one lesson encompasses so much of what is important to me.

Humility, love, kindness, compassion, empathy, consideration, respect, responsibility.

Our society fosters the opposite at times, 

but each of us has the power 

to decide how to live, participate and contribute to society.

What if everyone followed the golden rule?
